The Most Exclusive And Rarest Amiibo Figures

As collectors, it is good to dream with open eyes, particularly when we think about the most exclusive and rarest amiibo figures of all time.

Those priceless collectibles rise to Olympus a few selected collections, and they represent the icing on the cake for a legion of collectors worldwide.

Without a doubt, those limited in pieces amiibo are the treasure that the most avid collectors desire to have in their showrooms.

Having said this and without further delay, we unveil which are the most exclusive and rarest amiibo figures until today.

Mega Man x amiibo

Back to 2018 and coinciding with the 30th anniversary of this pop culture icon, Capcom organized a contest with the opportunity to get a Rockman Gold amiibo limited to 10 pieces.

That contest took place only in Japan, and the winners of this unique golden piece were selected by lottery.

As you can see in the following tweet, one of the winners proudly showed off his prize.

Monster Hunter x amiibo

Capcom’s flagship franchise has been offering most of these limited editions since 2017.

We introduce them in chronological order

Lioleia & Cheval Silver and One-Eyed Liolaeus & Rider Boy Gold versions were the prize for the finalist and winner of the Monster Hunter Championship 2017.

In 2021, the Japanese brand shocked us with two worldwide contests coinciding with the releases of Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

All those ultra-rare amiibo are limited to 10 pieces and like the Rockman Gold amiibo contest, the winners were selected by lottery.

The limited edition from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin introduced the golden versions of Ena, Razewing Ratha and Tsukino.

While the grails from Monster Hunter Rise presented the gold and silver versions of Magnamalo, Palico and Palamute.

If you think it was a little, the winners receive a gold or silver set with three of those amiibo figures.

A year after, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak went to us with another wave of limited editions, including the platinum and red metallic variants of Malzeno, Palamute – Canyne Malzeno and Palico – Felyne Malzeno.

Same as in 2021, the winners received three figures, but that time the contest was exclusive to the Japanese market.

Splatoon x amiibo

We are accustomed to seeing how Nintendo surprises the winners of its global and local tournaments with surprising trophies.

But the great amiibo prize came at Splatoon Koshien 4 2019 Tournament, where the victors were rewarded with the amazing gold versions of Inkling Squid and Octoling Octopus.

The elegant black and gold packaging is out of this world, and both NFC Splatoon figures are limited to four pieces.

Some people could get those coveted grails with the help of Fortuna, or great warriors had to show their skills in the arena to reach the glory and those desired rewards.

But the truth is that those unique pieces are the envy of the entire amiibo collector community.
