The Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card is fast becoming a true collector’s grail. Yesterday, it set a fresh milestone with the sale of a PSA 10 graded international version for €1,550 (US$1,779).
The deal closed on eBay via Best Offer from an initial asking price of €1,990. This new benchmark surpasses the previous record set earlier this year, when a North American PSA 10 copy sold at auction for US$1,447—one of the highest individual amiibo sales recorded in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Japanese PSA 10 edition has yet to cross the US$1,000 threshold, with the latest entry in our database recorded at US$950.

Taken together, these sales reflect an average price point near US$1,500 for a PSA 10 copy. Given current market momentum, Shadow Mewtwo could break the US$2,000 barrier sooner than anticipated.

Fueled by sustained interest across both Pokémon and amiibo collecting, Shadow Mewtwo is firmly establishing itself as one of the most coveted pieces in the scene.
