Rare Amiibo Manufacturing Error Sold For US$4,6K

The passion for adding unique pieces to our collections is legitimate, and a rare amiibo manufacturing error reached the figure of €4,250 on eBay a few weeks ago.

We are talking about the Broken Ocarina version of Link and the transaction on this amazing oddity was closed by eBay Best Offer Accepted.

But the truth is that searching for defective amiibo figures is not a shock among collectors.

Amiibo manufacturing errors have led to some fascinating and rare collectibles over the years.

These oddities often spark popular interest and sometimes fetch high prices in the secondary market.

Some of us still remember the record auctions of Double Arm Cannon Samus or Legless Peach in the early days of amiibo, sold for US$2,500 and US$25,100 respectively.

The Guinness World Records included that Legless Peach transaction in its 2017 Gamer’s Edition , and it still holds the title of being the largest sale for an amiibo item.

.Owning a rare amiibo manufacturing error is the dream to many collectors, and that recent sale shows that the interest in amiibo still remains these days.
