More than 100 amiibo have been re-releasing since the end of 2023, but now you should hunt these amiibo treasures before it’s too late.
I am enthusiastic about it, but why do I say that?
As I moved forward in this blog before, this new wave of our precious toys-to-life brought some curious packaging details.
Beyond the new and minimalist design of the cardboard’s back, we discovered a singular detail in two of them.
I am pointing out the US packaging reprints of Bowser Wedding Outfit and Pikmin, finding a white circle surrounding the recommended age text.
That remarkable detail makes them a must-have for the most avid collectors.
We assumed that those designs will be final, but Nintendo has reprinted the US variant of Bowser Wedding Outfit once again, recovering the previous artwork from 2017.
In case that’s been corrected for a printing error or mistake from its original version, we could consider that variant as a “manufacturing error”, even thinking about the massive production of it.
All signs point to a new reprint of Pikmin in the following months too, which could confirm that the previous versions of 2024 as manufacturing errors.
Whatever happens, time is running to hunt these amiibo treasures, so my advice is that don’t think twice in case you find them.
