Nintendo just announced the awaited Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong Power-Up Bands during the Super Nintendo World Direct, coming soon to the new Donkey Kong Country at Universal Studios Japan.
We have been expecting this release for a while but now we will be ready to add them in our collections next 11 December 2024..
They join the existing broad range of Power-Up bands, so same as their predecessors, we are pretty sure that they would fly away from the shelves quickly.
For those who are unfamiliar with them, the Power-Up bands help us to enhance the experience at Super Nintendo World, but you can also tap them on your Nintendo Switch and use them as amiibo.
Since their launch, those NFC bands are very coveted by collectors and Nintendo fans, particularly the limited edition and hard-to-find Golden Power-Up Band.
Now, the question we have in mind is, and particularly thinking about other main characters of the Mario franchise such as Wario and Waluigi, if we will get more Super Mario Bros. themed Power Up Bands coming soon. What are your thoughts about it?
