After debuting in Japan last August, the Amiibo Wood Block Sets are finally expanding to other countries. Nintendo officially announced that these sets will arrive in additional regions soon.
These sets won’t arrive alone. Nintendo is releasing other items from the “My Mario” series alongside the wooden versions of these remarkable toys-to-life figures.
In the United States, the My Mario line will launch at Nintendo stores in New York and San Francisco, with selected items hitting shelves on February 19.
Europeans can expect the same release date, with products appearing across various Nintendo e-shops.
Regarding the Amiibo Wood Block Sets, Nintendo has only confirmed two of the five Japanese originals so far: the Mario & Friends set and the standalone Mario set.
Mario’s 40th anniversary continues to deliver exciting surprises. Today, Nintendo also announced amiibo support for Mario Tennis Fever. Check out the amazing video at the link below!
The arrival of these sets brings welcome relief to fans, as the Japanese versions commanded high prices on the secondary market. We are still waiting to see if The Japanese giant will eventually release the Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach sets in other regions.
