Amiibo Price Guide Report

As the year wraps up, we would like to share a brief report on Amiibo Price Guide’s (or short APG) progress.

Our main objective since the very beginning has always been this  –  to build the best amiibo builder and tracker on the market for your collection. And we can proudly say we are achieving this, given the distinctive features we have incorporated and the quick comparisons we can make with other websites.

And here is what we think makes APG unique  –

Database

Currently, APG hosts more than five thousand items, and we continue working to catalog every amiibo product in one place. This allows us to provide a unique experience for collectors and fans, enabling them to add different versions and variants of each product to their collection—a clear differentiator from what the amiibo market has offered until now.

This makes it easier to visualize our beloved toys-to-life in one place, eliminating the need to gather information from multiple websites simultaneously.

Additionally, our sister site hobbyDB allows you to add your favorite collectibles from other brands—from Funko to Hot Wheels and beyond—complementing APG’s offering with more than one million items currently in its portfolio.

Pricing and Estimated Values

Regarding price accuracy and trending values, our team works diligently to keep the price guide updated daily.

To date, we have added more than 60,000 sales from different marketplaces, a number that grows every day, allowing us to provide a precise and up-to-date sales history.

As a result, marketplace sales are reflected in the Amiibo Price Guide in less than 24 hours. This enables us to offer near real-time market values for the different variants, a key element that truly sets us apart as a reference in the field and one we know collectors appreciate.

Our pricing is specialized, accounting for the premiums of rare print runs and regional variants—a level of context that generic sales aggregators miss.

This is one of the key differentiators from other amiibo-focused websites and clearly demonstrates our commitment to providing accurate pricing for each version.

This not only helps collectors understand the value of their collection but also provides clearer insights when making buying or selling decisions.

What’s Next

But we know this is not enough. The collectibles market is increasingly demanding, which is why we’re excited to share that we’re making the Price Guide even better with the addition of Graded Price Points.

These Price Points do not currently count toward the Estimated Value, but in the future, we will display Estimated Values for different graded conditions.

Remember that you can also add signed and custom articles to your collection and wishlist.
